Mass where
the strike happens.
Most cue butts weigh 15 oz or more. Ours weigh 9 oz (carbon) or 11 oz (Vapor Lite™ wood), paired with 4 to 10 oz carbon shafts. A light butt and heavy shaft move the balance point forward — weight closer to the cue ball means more power and control. Drag the controls and watch it move.
Balance migration
Modeled from the published piece weights. The ADJ shaft starts at 6.3 oz and accepts weight bolts just in front of the joint in ⅓ oz increments up to 10.0 oz.
Low-deflection strike
Illustrative model. Lower end-mass carbon shafts push the cue ball off-line less when you apply side spin, so you aim where you look.
The Vapor Lite power advantage
Moving mass closer to the cue ball delivers a remarkably solid strike that maximizes kinetic energy — 2.8 to 3.7% more ft/lbs at the same stroke speed, and superior ball dispersion on the break.
Precision control & stability
Mass concentrated over your bridge hand firmly seats the shaft for a grounded stroke. Lateral movement is eliminated, keeping you down through the line of aim — and it reduces chicken wingin'.
Seamless stroke transition
The balance zone extends from the front of the wrap through the joint, keeping the center of gravity aligned with your stroke for a buttery-smooth transition from backswing to follow-through.

Carbon from butt cap to tip. A 9.0 oz Carbon Lite butt gives the most nimble cue you will ever play, paired with a forward-weighted carbon shaft you can tune in 1/3 oz steps.

Sixty-one inches,
zero compromise.
3 inches of extra reach over standard cues — without ever feeling unmanageable. The central balance point stays ahead of your grip wherever you hold it: shorter players choke up on the wrap, taller players get the length they need, no extension required. Tap any station to see how it is built.
FWD™ weight chamber
⅓ oz incrementsWeight bolts thread in just in front of the joint — 1.0 oz and 0.33 oz bolts tune the shaft from 6.3 oz to 10.0 oz.
Go a little lighter,
feel a lot more.
We recommend a FWD cue slightly lighter than your current one — the forward weight may feel heavy on your bridge hand at first. If you shoot a 19 oz cue today, an 18 oz FWD cue will likely suit you best.
Vapor cues
Power players — pair with a 7 or 8 oz shaft.
Combine the perfect butt weight with the perfect shaft weight to match your game. Our central balance and 61" length provide great balance no matter your height.

Layered like steel.
Balanced like a blade.
A katana is folded for strength and balanced for the hand. A Black Blade cue is laid up the same way — each layer has a single job.
